Even though northern Kwa-Zulu Natal is experiencing a really bad drought which is heartbreaking to see, it is amazing to see how well the animals are doing all considering. This is purely due to the massive conservation efforts in the area. Conservation is hard to get right but with the passion of these individuals the impact is noticeable.
We had some amazing sightings, made some new friends and brought back some new stories to tell. Lion, Cheetah, white and black Rhino, Crowned Eagle… just to name a few.
Wild dog have been introduced into the reserve but unfortunately this time around they didn’t want their photo taken 🙂 oh well…next time.
Here are some of my pics from our stay there. Enjoy!
