Scott and Monique got married at Bonamanzi Game Reserve in Kwa-Zulu Natal. One of the things I love most about shooting weddings is getting to visit amazing places. With the help of Glynnis Dirksen & Gaye Wright from the equally amazing wedding venue Talloula, Bonamanzi was transformed into a spectacular venue for two to become one
Scott’s family flew out from the States to celebrate their special day. Being a weekend wedding, there was a welcoming braai the night before the wedding. Under the African stars all the guests mingled around a bonfire and enjoyed some traditional Zulu dancing.
The wedding went smoothly and we had a lot of fun with the creative shots. I had so much fun and would like to thank all involved for making my job so easy and fun. I had a hard time selecting pics to go in this blog, they all turned out great but here are some of my favourite moments. So have a look at this incredible wedding, one that I will remember for a long, long time.
From Scott and Monique: “When we planned our wedding we wanted to have an event that was about the people we loved being with us. We were so fortunate to have friends and family come from nearby and from literally across the world. It was truly an amazing celebration! The best part? All the people there to celebrate with us.”
