Sharlene and Wesley got married at St Anne’s Catholic Church, a beautiful and bright church in Sydenham. I remember how nervous Wesley was before his bride-to-be walked down the isle towards him. After the ceremony we headed to the beach front to the sunken gardens for some family shots and then made our way into Durban for some fun urban pictures with the bridal party.
I’m glad to see that more and more people are exploring the hidden treasures that Durban City has to offer. While making our way to the Point I thought I would stop at Morrison Street as I knew there would be some great graffiti to play with and here we got an awesome shot with a piece by the late Pastel Heart. I love the shot, the colours and contrast work so well.
After an hour or so of causing trouble in the city we headed to the Waterfront Hotel and Spa (AKA Docklands Hotel) . This is a great place for a reception, it’s open air courtyard creates a fun, relaxed atmosphere as people melt into the rad urban decor.
Wishing Sharlene and Wesley all the best for the future… see you both again soon! 😉
